Michele Riccardi, originario di Banzi, residente a Domodossola da tanti anni, è spirato improvvisamente il 5 agosto scorso all'età di quasi 94 anni. I banzesi di una certa età lo ricorderanno sicuramente per aver fornito a tanti di loro i mattoni per le loro case, prodotti nella sua fornacia verso le fontanelle. Chi, come me, ha avuto la fortuna di conoscerlo da vicino, lo ricorderà anche per la sua bonomia e generosità. Merita un doveroso ricordo ed un omaggio questo banzese che, pur non potendo essere annoverato tra i personaggi illustri quanto a studi, ha tuttavia, più di altri, fattivamente contribuito alla crescita del paese.

COMUNICATO DEL WEB MASTER

Informo che, a supporto e complemento di questo sito, su www. yahoo.it, ho creato un gruppo, denominato <carcuro> (attenzione però, per accedervi è necessario iscriversi, seguendo le relative istruzioni date da yahoo).
Con esso mi prefiggo di far ulteriormente condividere ricordi ed emozioni relative agli anni lontani trascorsi a Banzi, attraverso poesie, immagini, racconti, aneddoti, ecc.
Inoltre, il gruppo vuole essere anche un luogo per poter comunicare, stabilire contatti fra i banzesi che vivono lontano dal paese, che hanno perso le tracce gli uni degli altri, e che lì possono, pertanto, avere l'opportunità di ripristinare vecchi rapporti, di lanciare iniziative, organizzare incontri e quant'altro.
Non è vietato, tuttavia, intervenire, anche a coloro che vivono a Banzi. Ciascuno si faccia vivo ed apporti il proprio contributo. Se tale opportunità saprà essere colta e sfruttata, più di qualcuno potrebbe provare qualche emozione!

Oggetto: 48 anni dopo

Il 26 maggio 2003 è nato a Bologna Lorenzo Carcuro (vedi foto), figlio di Davide ed Elena. Diventano così due i Lorenzo Carcuro che tramanderanno il nome di mio padre: mio figlio, ed il nipote di mio fratello. Felicitazioni vivissime alla mamma, al papà, ai nonni Domenico e Carla, al bisnonno Lorenzo.

Nozze d'oro in famiglia: festeggiato a Domodossola il 50° anniversario di matrimonio di mia sorella Anna con Nicola Riccardi. A condividere il ricordo dell'emozionante ricorrenza siamo stati in tanti: figli, generi, genitori ancora, fratelli, sorelle, nipoti. E mia sorella era ancora una bella sposa, e mio cognato era ancora un bello sposo: i cinquanta anni di matrimonio, se sono stati ricchi di frutti, testimoniati dai tanti nipoti (ben sette), sembravano passati invece invani sui loro volti. Auguri infiniti per tanti anni felici da vivere ancora insieme, fra di loro e con noi.

A distanza di un secolo e mezzo...è ritornato a Banzi ancora Giuliano Carcuro: complimenti al papà Giulio! E complimenti anche al fratello Massimo, divenuto papà di Andrea il 16 agosto 2001 ed all'altro fratello Italo per il secondogenito Edoardo!
Sarà Davide Carcuro a Bologna (sposo il maggio 2001) a dare il prossimo contributo a mantenere vivi i nomi dell'albero genealogico?
Sì, Davide ha dato il suo contributo, mostrando amore ed orgoglio familiare: non ha mancato di chiamare il suo primogenito, Lorenzo, attaccando egli l'anello che aveva tralasciato di aggiungere suo padre. Salta una generazione, bisogna arrivare al pronipote, ma meglio tardi che mai: il capostipite Lorenzo ne sarà comunque fiero!

STEFANIA GIGLI (per chi non lo sapesse, è quella bambina in home page portata in bicicletta da sua cugina Elena Carcuro) figlia di Lina Carcuro, mia sorella, e Gilberto Gigli ha vinto a Bologna un premio per la fantastica recensione al libro "Harry Potter e il calice di fuoco".
BRAVA dallo Zio Antonio! Si vede che sei mia nipote! Ti meriti un bel regalo...una filastrocca, ed una poesia.

Hello. My name is Nicole and I am the fiance of Barry Noble, the son of Annette Noble (Carcuro) that I know recently wrote to you. Barry has 2 daughters...Stephanie who will soon be 12 and Brittany who is 8. Barry and I live in our home about 10 miles from his mother, Annette in the town of Rotterdam,NY.      Dear Antonio,
      I was sooo happy to get your E-mail. I am so fascinated my where my family came from. I am 28 years old and have been married to my husband Joe, for 3 years in September. I work in a law office. I have a brother Nicholas who is 26, he is not married, he is the supervisor at a warehouse. Neither of us have children yet. My father is Dominick, he just turned 50 in May, and my mother is Sherry. My parents just celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in June. My grandfather, Dominick was the most wonderful person to me, we were very close until his death, in 1986 I believe it was. We have a very wonderful family here, and are all very close. I spend Sunday's with my grandmother, Betty, and usually my Aunt Karen, Uncle Cary, and Uncle Nick are there too. My grandfather was married twice, so the children are from different mothers, but we're all still very close, in fact my grandfather's first wife usually joins us for Sunday dinner too!!
      My cousin Elizabeth is getting married in August, so I will see many cousins, I will be sure to tell them to look at your website, and E-mail you. I live north of Schenectady, near a town called Saratoga. It's were all the people come in the summer to see the horse racing.It's nice and country-like. I have always wanted to come to Italy, I loved seeing your pictures. My father's family on his mother's side also come from Italy, so he's Italian on both sides. My mother's family is from Ireland.
      I 'm going to help my Dad get some pictures to send to you, very soon. I'll get some more information on everybody else too. I look forward to hearing from you again.
